Our hike will take place on the territory of the Uzhansky National Natural Park, a fabulous forest with the largest beech trees in Europe along the border of Poland and Slovakia. The local region is interesting for scientists and tourists as a place of falling of the largest 250-kilogram fragment of a meteorite called “Princess”. It is considered the largest in Europe. We will also see one of the oldest trees growing in Ukraine, millennial oaks. Record holder about 1200-1300 years old, 30 meters high and 9 meters in circumference. We will spend the night in the oldest tourist shelter, built in 1936 by the Czechs.
