“TOURIST OF THE YEAR” – the prize, which provides for the annual award of the title “Tourist of the Year” in the SALO Tourist Club. It was founded in 2013. The author and developer of the award is Boltomatis Denis Vasilievich.
The project covers all members of the SALO Tourist Club. Winners of the program are determined by the largest number of kilometers traveled and hikes in a calendar year. 10 days before the ceremony, an Internet voting is opened, in which everyone who wishes can support the candidates.
The winner is awarded a special prize. In addition, each of the final three winners receives a laureate diploma, which are awarded directly on the stage during the annual ceremony “Tourist of the Year.”
